CANTINA SOCIALE DI QUARTU S. ELENA

The Quartu winery was founded in 1926.Thus over eighteen years of history and work are there to crown on a tradition of vineyeards and wine-making that goes back to the remotest times,when ship brought the first vine to sardinia.

The quartu winery  counts approximately 120 associates, which confer to the company various variety of cultivar. To all it is famous, even to less expert between the consumers, how much the variety of origin of the grapes deeply affects the characteristics of the finished product. Less famous it is perhaps that the vitigni present in the world they are in truly considerable number (something like 8-10,000 esteem), even if a limited number of they covers great part of the vitata surface. It remains therefore a great “tank” of biological diversity from which even reaching also diversity than organolettiche feelings for the more demanding palates. A patrimony that us must be still and more and more strained to recover, guardian, to conserve.
